Hotel worker killed by lawn mower

A 54-year-old man has died tragically in Rhodes when a lawn mower overturned and crushed him.

According to preliminary information, the incident occurred on Tuesday, August 20, and shook the entire island. The man, who was driving a lawn mower, was working at a hotel in Rhodes. Suddenly, the car overturned, crushing him. The victim was taken by ambulance to the General Hospital of Rhodes “Andreas G. Papandreou”, but died from his injuries.

The unfortunate worker was found unconscious by his colleague, who immediately reported it to the ambulance service. Rescuers arrived at the scene, picked up the injured man and took him to the hospital. Also, as reported by the publication “Η Ροδιακή”, the exact circumstances under which the accident occurred (as well as the injuries he sustained) have not been disclosed.

The authorities are collecting information and evidence to find out what exactly happened to the unfortunate hotel worker.
