Secretary of the Security Council of Russia Sergei Shoigu held a meeting with the President of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian. This was reported by the Tasnim publication.
“Secretary of the Russian Security Council held a meeting with the President [Ирана]”, – the article says. Shoigu arrived in Tehran several hours ago. During the visit, he also intends to talk with the Chief of the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Mohammad Bagheri.

Thinking out loud:
- Iran is preparing an unprecedented response (as they push it on social networks) to Israel;
- The White House is doing everything to soften this. They say (we think it's a lie) that they even promise to lift all sanctions;
- Iran warns all airlines not to fly over country;
- Shoigu flies to Iran right before the strike, when it is very dangerous.
It looks very much like the Russians, as Iran's allies, were asked to act as mediators and persuade Iran to soften the blow.
Question: USA or Israel?
