The body of a missing 9-year-old Ukrainian woman was probably found in Saxony


The body of a child was found in Germany; it is suspected that it is a Ukrainian girl who disappeared a week ago.

Let us remind you that our publication reported that the round-the-clock search lasted for more than a week. 9-year-old Valeria from Ukraine in eastern Germany – last Monday, June 3, a girl went to school, but never got there.

She lived with her mother in the center of Döbeln in Saxony, a small town of 25,000 inhabitants. Leaving the house on Monday morning, the girl headed to the bus station, located 450 meters away – the school bus leaves from there. She couldn’t get lost, since she walked this path every day, but she never showed up at school that day. There they did not react to the absence of the child, so the mother found out about her disappearance only in the evening, and at 18:30 she contacted the police.

How reports Bild edition On June 11, more than 400 law enforcement officers and emergency services workers from Saxony were involved in the search for the missing Valeria. In the forest near the town of Döbeln in Saxony, police discovered a body, but who it belongs to is still unknown. The local police refused to provide details, citing “conducting the necessary investigative work.”

Journalists clarified that yesterday “the largest group of searches in a week” was involved in the search for the missing girl. The body of an unknown person was found about five hours after a large-scale search began. Considering that during this time the girl was never found, the police do not rule out that the child was abducted.
