In the Suzak region of Kyrgyzstan, an out-of-control mini-truck with ice cream hit 29 children – 18 were hospitalized, three in serious condition.
How reports Kabar.kg., victims are from 9 to 16 years old. Three of them are in critical condition and receiving intensive care. The condition of another eight is assessed as moderately serious. Eleven children received medical attention at the scene, after which they were sent to outpatient treatment.
According to the police, the schoolchildren were there as part of the republican epic competition “Manas” and were preparing for a performance. At this time, a Hyundai Porter mini-truck, parked on the slope, for unknown reasons began to move and crashed into a crowd of children.
At the time of the emergency, the driver was not in the car; ice cream was being sold on board the truck. The collision with children is assessed as unintentional. An investigation is currently underway, writes “Information Bureau”.
