With special events and free admission, the Acropolis Museum will celebrate the annual European Night of Museums on Saturday 13 May and International Museum Day on Thursday 18 May 2023.
On Saturday, the museum will extend its opening hours by 4 hours, until 12 midnight (from 09:00 to 00:00), and from 20:00 admission will be free.
Like every Saturday in the morning, visitors will be able to take part in a gallery conversation “Saturday at the museum with 20+1 masterpieces” . An incredible walk through the exhibition areas of the museum, where myths and fables, folklore and traditions, historical milestones and human stories are turned into art and intertwined with vivid impressions.

On May 18, the entrance for visitors is free during regular opening hours – from 09:00 to 20:00. This year focuses on the theme of Museums, Sustainability and Wellbeing and highlights the role of museums as places where children can have fun, be creative and socialize. In this regard, special events for children are held on this day.
