Merchants, encouraged by the fact that free entry to stores has been introduced and customers no longer need to present Covid-Pass, (vaccination or recovery certificate, negative rapid test), launched an off-season sale.
The Greek authorities last Thursday adopted decision recommend suspension of Covid-Pass and Covid European Digital Certificate (EUDCC) from May 1, 2022.
The mid-season sale will last until May 15, 2022, with retail stores still open on Sunday May 8 when they have the opportunity to operate from 11:00 to 18:00.
Commercial stores reopened today after the May holidays and cancellation of the Covid-Pass measure from May 1. Please note that the use of masks in stores is still mandatory. However, it remains mandatory indoors until the end of the month, and this measure may be lifted, depending on the course of the pandemic in the country.
