The robbers entered one of the Volos houses through a window in the children's room. A 12-year-old girl was in the house at the time.
Fortunately, she was not taken aback: she locked herself in the room and called the police. The terrible incident took place in the Nea Ionia area on Friday afternoon. All that remains is to be surprised and rejoice at the composure of the frightened child.
How writes TheNewspaper, realizing that the girl called the police, the robbers immediately retreated. Police officers who arrived at the scene of the incident are conducting an investigation to identify and apprehend the criminals.
Local residents have expressed concern about the rise in burglaries in the area. Authorities are investigating the possibility that the perpetrators are linked to other similar cases.
