Russian Kinzhals destroyed at least 4 Ukrainian F-16s

The Russians dealt a crushing blow to the Ukrainian Air Force today, destroying at least four F-16 fighters at an airbase in the Ukrainian city of Starokonstantinov with supersonic Kinzhal missiles.

The strikes were reportedly multiple and the missiles were launched by Russian MiG-31 fighters. This is a heavy blow for Ukrainians, since there are very few such aircraft in Ukraine.

The Ukrainian Air Force lost up to six F16 fighters on the ground as a result of targeted Russian attacks (DDGeopolitics/Geroman). Including in Starokonstantinov. “Western gifts” have almost been spent.

Today's Russian strike is also a lesson for the Greek Air Force, since the 111th Combat Wing in Nea Anchialos, the 110th Combat Wing in Larissa and the 114th Combat Wing in Tanagra could have been hit in a similar way. The Turks have adequate ballistic missiles for this purpose, and if they were successful, the war would effectively be over before it even began. That is, they will not need to scramble fighter jets or even use numerous drones, but will be able to launch a direct strike with ballistic missiles that they already have, for example, Bora missiles 1 and 2.

Now Türkiye is capable of hitting the entire territory of Greece, even the Ionian Islands. For example, “Bora-2” (“Hurricane”) is an MRBM missile that belongs to the category of medium-range (over 500 km) ballistic missiles. More precisely, from 500 km to 5,000 km are classified as medium-range missiles. From 5,000 km and above they are classified as “intercontinental ballistic missiles” (ICBMs). Bora-1 has a range of 280 km.

Unfortunately, the Turkish armed forces now have the ability to attack any point on Greek territory. The value of having a missile arsenal is constantly demonstrated in Ukraine, and Greece, due to the inadequate (there is no other word for it) political leadership of the last 13 years, has no answer.
