When will the platform for filing Form A21 (Child Benefit) open?


On September 30, the A21 child benefit platform will be launched, which will serve as a tool for paying the fourth installment to beneficiaries.

The following fields must be completed in the A21 application:

  • Information about the school department.
  • Class and registration number of the child attending compulsory education.

If all student details are verified, the application can be accepted as normal. Otherwise, a message will appear and the applicant will be required to attach the necessary supporting documents to complete the A21 online application. The recipients of child benefits include:

  1. Citizens of Greece.
  2. Emigrants from other countries who have an expatriate card.
  3. Citizens of Member States EU.
  4. Citizens of countries within the European Economic Area (Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein), as well as citizens of Switzerland.
  5. Recognized refugees permanently residing in Greece, whose status is governed by the provisions of the 1951 Convention relating to the Status of Refugees, as amended in 1967, and the New York Protocol relating to the Status of Refugees.
  6. Stateless persons whose residence status in Greece is determined by the 1954 Convention (Καθεστώς των Ανιθαγενών).
  7. Beneficiaries of humanitarian status.
  8. Citizens of other countries.

Child benefit payment deadlines:

  • The fourth is on Monday, September 30.
  • The fifth is November 29, 2024.
  • The sixth is before Christmas, from December 20 to 23.

As part of the program GUARDIANSHIP An increase in child benefits of approximately 20% is expected. For category A':

  • The monthly amount of 70 euros, which is currently allocated for the first dependent child, is expected to increase to 84 euros.
  • An additional 70 euros per month will be provided for the second dependent child, increasing the amount to 84 euros.
  • The additional €140 per month provided for the third child and each subsequent dependent will increase to €168.
