A Greek man was arrested in Chania with a whole "weapons depot"

Among the extensive arsenal found in the possession of a Chania resident was even an artillery shell. The owner of the weapon was arrested.

The Security Directorate police officers, as part of special measures to combat illegal possession of weapons and following information, carried out a coordinated operation, during which, during a search of the home of a specific person in the area of ​​the Municipality of Chania, they seized:

• 4 units of weapons,
• 211 cartridges of various calibers,
• artillery shell,
• bayonet,
• 30 cartridges,
• 2 stores,
• knife.

The preliminary investigation, writes CNN Greece, is being conducted by the Chania Security Directorate (Υποδιεύθυνση Ασφαλείας Χανίων).
