Missile strike on children's rehabilitation center and orphanage in Sumy (video)


The police are clarifying the consequences of the missile strike on Sumy – among the eighteen victims, six were children, the Sumy Region Police Communications Department reports:

“An educational institution and at least five multi-story buildings were damaged. All relevant services are working at the scene, and residents of the damaged buildings are receiving the necessary assistance.”

) at the center for social and psychological rehabilitation of children and the orphanage in Sumy. The National Police reported that investigators are recording damage and collecting evidence of a war crime:

“A criminal case has been opened on this fact under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, “Violation of the laws and customs of war.”

Russian troops also fired upon Kyiv (photo) and Kharkov, having carried out a total of “about 10 strikes” on the Ukrainian city, the head of the Kharkov OVA Oleg Sinegubov reported on his Telegram channel. On the evening of September 1, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that as a result of the attack on the city, the number of casualties was almost 50 people.

Earlier, on the night of Sunday, September 1, the Ukrainian Armed Forces carried out one of the most massive attacks UAVs over the territory of the Russian Federation. As reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense, during the night, air defense systems destroyed and intercepted 158 Ukrainian UAVs over 15 regions of the country, including over Moscow.

As a result of the Ukrainian shelling, 80 victims were taken to hospitals in Belgorod, 12 of whom were children, Belgorod Region Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov reported. Later, the city was again attacked by Ukrainian drones, and the number of wounded, according to Gladkov, increased by 11 people.
