A fight between gypsies was reported on Tuesday 13/08 in the afternoon on a ferry heading to Rafina. A pistol was reportedly found on one of the participants in the incident.
On Tuesday, the Golden Star Ferries Super Express with 717 passengers departed from Tinos to Rafina when the captain was informed as it was leaving the port that a fight had broken out in the cabin. There were also reports that one of the participants was seen carrying a firearm.

The captain immediately returned the ship to the port of Tinos, where 6 gypsies were arrested. They reportedly attacked the passenger after he told them to be quiet. The remaining 8 people were arrested on board upon return to Rafina. During the search, a fake pistol was found, and one of the passengers stated that he had another pistol.
Passengers reportedly asked the coastguard to provide an escort to Rafina due to unsafe conditions on board. The ship left Tinos shortly after 8pm with two coastguards on board.
