A well-known Polish DJ accused of drug trafficking in Mykonos has been arrested and released with restrictions. She was also ordered to post €5,000 bail and report to the Greek consulate in Warsaw.
On July 27, authorities arrested three people: the leader of the criminal organization, a distributor, and a Polish DJ who played in famous stores in Mykonos.
The organization had a number of “services” with a detailed price list stating the type and price of drugs, and a distributor who delivered the drugs directly to potential buyers.
The leader was Polish, as was the DJ, whose role was very important, since her status as a musician justified the members' long stay on the island. In many cases, she also acted as an accompanying distributor, and was present during the sale so as not to arouse suspicion.
Police found and confiscated:
- A vehicle used by a key member of the organization to transport drugs.
- Precise scales.
- 65,880 euros.
- US$17,166.
- 240 pounds sterling.
- 43.22 grams of cocaine.
- 8.61 grams of methamphetamine.
- 212 grams of synthetic drug.
- Lots of ecstasy tablets and shavings of different colours.
- A lot of plastic capsules with the drug MDMA.
