The Secret of Lottery Ticket Money

Surprisingly, the family denied this in a statement. The authorities' investigation is expected to extend to other islands such as Ios and Paros, and police said the killer's movements and method of escape were known for certain.

“We will sue those who do not respect his memory”

Earlier it was reported that the family of the murdered man gave their response to rumors about his business connections. As emphasized in the statement of Panagiotis Stathis' relatives, “statements of gross untruthfulness were made or implied: in particular, that he had allegedly won huge sums of money in gambling, that he had allegedly suddenly changed his financial level, that he had allegedly sold land worth tens of millions, that he had allegedly prepared technical reports for a complex case, etc. All of the above is an absolute lie, and the only truth is that the professional and social life of our murdered husband and father was absolutely lawful and impeccable, and all references to him are exclusively positive. His ethics and honesty are universally recognized wherever he was engaged in professional and social activities.”

As the surveyor's family emphasizes, they will file lawsuits against those who do not respect his memory:“We, his family, his widow, children and parents, will not tolerate the slightest hint of tarnishing the memory of Panagiotis Stathis, and therefore we are already taking legal action against those who do not respect his memory.”
