Six of the invaders are charged with “terrorism” charges for participation in the banned ISIS. In December 2023, they were preparing a terrorist attack on the Supreme Court building in Karachay-Cherkessia. Two of them received 18 years in prison, another – 18.5. One is also suspected of robbery. It is not yet possible to identify the sixth prisoner.
In the footage taken inside Pre-trial detention center, the criminals confirm their involvement in ISIS and claim that they are “avenging their brothers” who are illegally imprisoned. With walkie-talkies and knives, they sit in front of two employees. According to Don Mash, the invaders set conditions: a car, weapons and the opportunity to leave the detention center.
The head of the operational department and the junior duty officer of the institution are now hostage. A group of employees from the central office of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia went to the region.
