Natives of Ukraine and Moldova are suspected of the murder of a 9-year-old Ukrainian woman in Germany

According to BILD, Two men are suspected of the murder of a 9-year-old Ukrainian woman, whose body was found on June 11 in a forest near the town of Döbeln: a native of Ukraine, the second from Moldova.

On Wednesday, June 11, in a forest near the town of Döbeln in Saxony, they found body of 9-year-old Valeria. She disappeared on June 3 on her way to school. Until 2022, the girl lived in Ukraine. Then she fled to Germany with her mother, sister and grandmother. My father remained to serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The separation led to the parents' divorce. Now the police have taken the apartments of my mother and grandmother under guard. According to BILD, two men are suspected of murder:

• The first is a native of Moldova, Andrei, the ex-boyfriend of Valeria’s 33-year-old mother. He lives in Prague, but Czech investigators cannot find him. On the morning of the murder, he wrote to his former lover and demanded to call her. According to BILD, he was in Döbeln that day.
• The second is a 50-year-old refugee from Ukraine, former sailor Gennady L. He was a neighbor of the girl’s family. Shortly before her death, she reported that she was being pursued by an adult man. Gennady wanted a relationship with Valeria's mother, but was refused. After that, in revenge, he promised to “destroy her life.” The German police cannot find him.

She lived with her mother in the center of Döbeln in Saxony, a small town of 25,000 inhabitants. Leaving the house on Monday morning, the girl headed to the bus station, located 450 meters away – the school bus leaves from there. She couldn’t get lost, since she walked this path every day, but she never showed up at school that day. There they did not react to the absence of the child, so the mother found out about her disappearance only in the evening, and at 18:30 she contacted the police.

How reports Bild edition On June 11, more than 400 law enforcement officers and emergency services workers from Saxony were involved in the search for the missing Valeria. On the same day, the police discovered a body in the forest near the town of Döbeln in Saxony, and after some time it turned out that it was a missing child.
