A new case of cruelty to a dog that occurred in Nea Flogita Halkidiki is shocking: its paws were tied with wire and the animal was left on the street.

The dog was found on Flogita beach with its four paws tied, according to the animal rescue and protection team.

According to volunteer Eleftheria Vekiloglu, the criminal or criminals pulled the wire so tightly that they injured the animal. “They tied the dog's legs and pulled the wire so tight that it got caught in the meat of the animal. The dog got scared and when they untied it, it tried to run away. She needs to be taken to a veterinarian to be examined,” Vekiloglu said.

This is a stray dog ​​that was fed by volunteers in the same place where it was found tortured today. An animal rescue and protection group has filed a complaint against an unknown person for cruelty to the animal and a search is underway to find the culprit.
