Remains of another Tempe victim found 15 months after tragedy (video)

The remains of another victim have been found at the site of the tragedy in Tempi, on a plot of land in the Pigadia area where train wreckage was transported after a fatal train accident.

This was confirmed by the father of the deceased, Pavlos Aslanidis. According to the newspaper “Eleftheria”, DNA analysis determined the genetic type, which coincided with the genetic type of an elderly passenger – a victim of a railway tragedy. Biological material was identified in a fragment of human bone discovered during sorting of finds in the soil.

How writes CNN Greece claims this new evidence refutes the claim that the soil carried onto the site came from a nearby abandoned site and not the site of the tragedy.
