Ioannina: Three adults and six minors are involved in the child pornography case

Ioannina police authorities are investigating nine people, three adults and six children, as well as their parents for neglecting their duties.

Over the course of several months of investigation, facts of sexual acts with minors under 15 years of age were established, reports CNN Greece. As a result of the application of special investigative measures and assessment of evidence, it was established that from January 2024 to mid-May, defendants aged 15 to 24 years in each specific case committed sexual acts with minors under 15 years of age and with a minor over 15 years of age.

It was also established that six of the accused were in possession of sexually explicit materials with minors. During the investigation, mobile phones were seized and sent for examination to the competent forensic service. The case, brought by the Ioannina Security Sub-Directorate, will be transferred to the General Prosecutor's Office.
