Greek Police: "Pyrotechnics for Easter are not toys for you"

Greek police are warning citizens ahead of Easter with a video featuring news reports from recent years that mention unfortunate incidents involving firecrackers and fireworks that have resulted in serious injury and death.

“Firecrackers and fireworks are not toys for you” – this is the message ELAS wants to convey to the public through a video published today on social networks, shortly before Holy Saturday and the Resurrection of Christ.

“More than 180,000 flares and firecrackers of all types have been confiscated recently. In addition, more than 100 people have been arrested,” reports the Greek police, wishing everyone a “Happy Sunday!” (“Καλή Ανάσταση”) ​​and spend the holidays as safely as possible.
