How tells Euronews, about this in your Telegram channel reported SBU. The arrestee’s plan was to collect and transfer to Russia information about the security of the Rzeszow-Jasionka airport in Poland, where the assassination attempt on the Ukrainian leader was to take place during his visit to the country. The detainee faces imprisonment for up to eight years.

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk commented detention of a Polish citizen suspected of assisting in the assassination attempt on the President of Ukraine, in a conversation with Onet.

He said that during the negotiations between the leaders EU in Brussels on Wednesday and Thursday they talked about “Russian influence through disinformation and cyber aggression during the European elections.” According to the head of the Polish government, this takes on special significance in the context of the news about the detention of a Pole, who was actually preparing an assassination attempt on President Vladimir Zelensky, in contact with Russian intelligence.
