Weekends with temperatures above +30°C

This weekend in Greece the temperature will reach +31°C, meteorologist Georgios Tsatrafillias reported on his personal Facebook account.

Mini-summer will begin in mid-April in at least 8 regions of the country, and the air temperature this season will be significantly higher. As the weather forecaster notes, from next Monday (15/4) the temperature should rise even more. As the meteorologist of the Alpha and Weather2go.gr channels reports: “The coming weekend in our country is expected to be very hot, the air temperature will rise 9 degrees above normal for the season. “Abnormal heat” (air temperature even 15 degrees above normal) will be observed in Central European countries such as France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland.” In some areas of Greece the thermometer will reach +30°C. Saturday (April 13)

Generally clear weather. In the afternoon and daytime, it will be cloudy in continental areas; in Macedonia and Thrace, mainly in the mountains, there will be local rain. The northerly wind is 4-6 points, in the Aegean Sea it is 7 points on the Beaufort scale. Temperatures will remain high throughout the season and reach +26-28°C in the Ionian Islands and mainland. In some places on the mainland +29°C, and on the islands +23-25°C.

Sunday (April 14)

Mostly clear weather with some clouds. Westerly winds of 3-5 on the Beaufort scale will gradually become variable and light. In the Aegean Sea in some places up to 7 points. Air temperatures will rise slightly, mainly in the west, and will fluctuate around 8-9 degrees above normal for the season.

Monday (15.04)

Generally clear weather. Partly cloudy skies are expected from midday. Wind force from 2 to 4 on the Beaufort scale, in the morning hours in the south-eastern part of the Aegean Sea from northern directions from 5 to 6 on the Beaufort scale. From midday it will change its direction to the south, from 4 to 5 on the Beaufort scale. Air temperatures will be maintained at very high levels for the season.
