Putin about strikes on Russia (video)

Russian President Vladimir Putin said today, March 15, that the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ strikes on Russian territory will not go unpunished:

“In order to disrupt the voting process [на выборах президента РФ] and to intimidate people, the Kiev neo-Nazi regime has conceived and is trying to carry out a number of criminal, demonstrative armed actions. <...> These enemy attacks do not and will not remain unpunished,” he said at a meeting with permanent members of the Russian Security Council, quotes publication “Izvestia”.

“In addition, from March 12 to the present, the Ukrainian Armed Forces, using mainly units of foreign mercenaries, have made several attempts to exit and consolidate in the territories of the Russian Federation. A number of sabotage and terrorist attacks took place in the Belgorod and Kursk regions. However, the attempts of the Kyiv regime were not successful in any of the directions.”

According to the Russian president, the forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces amounted to 2.5 thousand militants, 35 tanks and about 40 armored combat vehicles. According to him, the enemy “fled with heavy losses.” The Russian army hit about 60% of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ personnel and over 50% of its armored vehicles. “Who did they decide to intimidate? Russian people? Multinational people of Russia? This has never happened and, I am sure, will never happen,” Putin emphasized.

At a meeting with permanent members of the Russian Security Council, he stated that the events in the Belgorod and Kursk regions were intended to “disrupt the elections in Russia.”
