Why you shouldn’t sleep with undried hair


When you go to bed without bothering to dry your hair properly, you have yourself to blame. According to experts, the situation can cause a number of undesirable consequences that you probably did not know about or simply did not think about.

After a hard and tiring day, a warm and relaxing bath is what you need before bed. However, whether to dry hair after washing or not is a dilemma that people often face.

Sleeping with wet hair increases the risk of fungal scalp infections (i.e. dandruff and even dermatitis). Experts say that a warm environment and a damp pillowcase (along with a damp pillow) are the perfect breeding ground for scalp fungus.

When examining bed linen For each pillow, from four to sixteen species of fungal microorganisms were found. These included Aspergillus fumigatus, a common fungus that can cause serious infections in people with weakened immune systems.

Another undesirable effect that may be caused is that hair becomes coarse. In addition to the aesthetic effect, curling while sleeping increases friction and can damage the hair.
