The university rally against private universities, planned for today, Thursday (25/1), at 12 am at the Propylaea, has ended.
It is noted that the Federation of Secondary Education Workers (OLME) announced a three-hour break from 11:00 to 14:00 in support of the participation of students and teachers in the protest march.
The same position was taken by the Greek Federation of Teachers (IOE), which in its statement noted that it unanimously supports public free education and also announced a three-hour work stoppage from 11:00 to 14:00, and an additional work stoppage to cover full-time teachers and extended working hours (14:00 – 17:30).

The main demands are public and free education and increased government funding. Similar mobilizations took place in all major cities of the country, such as Thessaloniki, Volos, Xanthi, Rethymno and Patras. The march took place along Panepistimiou Street and ended in front of the Parliament building.
