The survey shows there has been a significant increase in the proportion of people over 55 who feel they need to rest (up from 23% to 40%) and take a break to recharge (up from 32% to 44%).

The need to escape stress at work has more than doubled over the past three years (38% from 16%), demonstrating the demands of today’s pressures in an economic crisis. Of course, each tourist’s request is individual. Nevertheless, a number of specific points have been taken into account and are known that are worth paying attention to when choosing a tourist destination (route) not only during the “velvet season”.

5. A small number of young people in the hotel and the absence of noisy night parties.

Otherwise, the needs of 55-year-olds and older, like all tourists, vary – for example, for some “silver age” vacationers it is important that they can go out for an evening walk with shopping near the hotel, others prefer to spend almost all their vacation time on hotel territory. For some it is important to attend excursions, but for others it is a secondary factor, etc.
