The Organization for Culture, Sports and Youth of the Municipality of Piraeus organized today, Sunday 17 December, for the fourth year in a row, the most festive sporting event that brings hundreds of smiles.
The fourth Santa Claus race in Piraeus is organized with the support of the Piraeus Runners’ Health Association (Συλλόγου Δρομέων Υγείας Πειραιά) and the anti-cancer volunteer group “AgaliaZO” as part of the municipality’s festive events. Young and old dressed up in the costume of our beloved Father Frost and ran along a route passing through the main streets of the city to create a joyful mood and a sense of celebration among passers-by.
“We are pleased to see that every year more and more citizens take part in sporting events and races. The year 2023 was rich in events, full of energy and solidarity,” noted the Piraeus City Hall.
