Today the premiere of “Santa Claus’s Basket” took place in toy stores. It includes an assortment of children’s toys. The promotion has a limited validity period – only during the winter holidays.
The products will have special markingcreated so that consumers are aware of it on the sales shelf, and the corresponding price list will be sent to the Ministry of Development and Investment, and will be checked for compliance with the Unfair Profits Act. Each network will need to have at least one product from each categoryand the “e-cart” will be placed on the e-katanalotis electronic platform.
Toys included in the “Santa Claus Basket”:
- board games/puzzles
- dolls and dollhouses
- assorted children’s toys
- action figures
- constructors
- cars, vehicles, including remote controlled ones
- electronic games
- sports games (balls, children’s basketballs and goals)
- soft and musical toys.
“All shops and enterprises with an annual turnover of more than a million euros, specializing in the sale of toys, are required to send to the Ministry of Development a list of toys that they will provide at affordable prices. To this list at least one game of each category must be included, sold in the store,” explained the relevant minister. In conclusion, the official clarified that “if desired,” enterprises with a gross turnover of less than a million can join the “Santa Claus Basket” campaign, but this is not obligatory.
