T. Gouriotis: “Erdogan comes here to demand the demilitarization of the islands and the division of the Aegean Sea”

The editor of the popular Greek publication Pronews, Tasos Gouriotis, and the famous YouTuber Lambros Paschos held a discussion about the visit of Turkish President R.T. Erdogan to Greece.

During the discussion, the parties touched upon the issue of whether Erdogan should come to Greece, the demilitarization of the islands and how Greece should treat Turkey’s demand to divide the Aegean Sea into two parts. Also about all the characters in the political system and, in particular, about the heads of the three right-wing parties. In addition, the parties discussed the topic of legalizing same-sex marriage and adoption of children by same-sex couples.

In particular, the editor of the popular Greek publication Pronews, Tasos Gouriotis, said:

“There is no reason why Erdogan should not come to Greece. There is no reason why Erdogan should not come to Greece. The question is not whether Erdogan will come, the question is on the agenda.”

– “The number one issue with which Erdogan wants to embarrass us is the demilitarization of the islands. A long-standing demand of Turkey, which, unfortunately, was never fulfilled. Armored fighting vehicles were never transferred to the Greek islands after the withdrawal of the BMP- 1, which were transferred to Ukraine. Not only they were withdrawn, but also other things, such as ammunition and man-portable anti-aircraft missiles. Training centers, which were not coincidentally located on the Greek islands, were closed. Because they all trained there, in the place where they were going to fight “.

– “Turkey asks for joint exploitation of the Aegean Sea, that is, it wants to enter our home. Because the Aegean Sea is our home, our sovereignty over the territory of the islands gives us rights. Of course, since the 1970s we have recognized that there is one unresolved issue , and this is the solution to the question of the continental shelf, that’s all.”

“The armed forces of the present era are not at all similar to those of the past. In those days, those who wanted to become an officer became officers, but now those who successfully pass the entrance exams become officers. Today’s officers are better educated than those who were in the past, but the former officers were warriors… The military school program does not produce warriors, but it teaches young officers how to behave with soldiers, how to report to foreigners, they study international law, and all this is nonsense.

All this should have taken a maximum of half a year. Officers must become military leaders. Military leadership means knowing how to control weapons and use them to kill, and how to send soldiers into battle, often to certain death. I don’t really know how many of them are capable of this. On the other hand (to our regret), they have an army that is constantly at war. They have losses, but they have tactical combat experience.

– “Erdogan feels like God’s representative on earth for all Muslims. This is not taken into account by those who are engaged, if engaged, in a strategic study of how to deal with Turkey. Did you see what happened during Erdogan’s visit to Germany when he told Scholz : “You killed the Jews, will we pay for them?” No one can say that, but he said it. He repeated it here in Greece without any problem.”

– “Turks should come to the Greek islands as visiting tourists, but not in the same way as Mr. Kairidis agreed, they should come when they want and leave when they want, with a one-year visa that is automatically renewed. Perhaps hotel owners will be happy about this, but when they see Turkish hotels in the neighborhood, I don’t know how happy they will be then. There are now 85 million Turks, and soon there will be 100 million, and there are only 8 million Greeks.”

Speaking about the political system, he said the following:

“New Left: They’re likable, but there’s a big difference between being useful. Are they good for the country?”

“S. Kasselakis: he is beautiful as a person. But individuals cannot produce politics and work of this kind. I am not talking about his personal characteristics. I prefer the one who declares them to the one who hides them. The hidden can be blackmailed, and there are too many hidden. Do I approve of this? Obviously not.

Regarding same-sex marriage and childbearing, some people might want to look at what research reports in the UK, which was the first country to allow child adoption, to see what kind of children were born. It’s easy to see now.

I became a father. The day after tomorrow I will take him to a party where there will probably be children adopted by two dads. I won’t have any problems, but their child will. What M. Voridis says about resignation is exactly similar to what Mr. Samaras said. They are an alibi for right-wing voters to remain voters.”

– “Right-wing parties (“Niki”, “Greek Solution” and “Spartans”): these parties express the desire of some right-wing voters that everything will change. Nothing will change. Because they also do not have the resources, it is all a matter of money to convince someone needs to have resources.A person can come forward and be torn apart overnight if they don’t have the resources to defend themselves.

By their nature, parties are problematic in terms of their leadership, their experience and the end results they produce. They have 33-34 seats and ND ignores them because the entire government is in their hands. Velopoulos is a very smart man, but nothing more. He is a good businessman and works. As for the rest, if you catch the party leaders, none of them worked.

D. Koutsubas is “Uncle Vanya” who is trying to push through his ideas, which are practically the “left hand of the system.” KKE is a system. Of all of them, at least Velopoulos worked.”
