The driver accelerates to 251 km per hour on the Athens-Thessaloniki highway

The reckless driver accelerated to a speed of 251 km/h on the Athens-Thessaloniki highway, hitting the police radar.

484 arrests and 4116 traffic violations in one day

As reported by ΕΛ.ΑΣ, during police operations throughout Greece on Monday, December 4, 2023, a total of 20 925 man and 15,673 vehicles. According to ΕΛ.ΑΣ:

• Detained 958 Human.
• Arrested for various crimes 484 people.
• Confirmed 4116 traffic violations.
• Stopped 101 vehicle.
• Confiscated 3 vehicles.

Near Kifissia verified 58 man and 29 vehicles arrested 2 people and confirmed 42 violations of the Code of Conduct, and in the area Agios Nikolaos Chalkida verified 9 Human. Besides, in Central Macedoniain particular in the municipality of Pydna-Colindros, Pieria prefecture:

• Verified 462 person and 362 vehicles.
• Detained 12 Human.
• 1 man arrested for drugs
• Confirmed 141 traffic violation

At the same time, special police operations carried out raids in Thessaly, Epirus, Eastern Macedonia and Thracein areas and towns with high crime rates.
