A passenger was injured when part of the roof of a regular bus fell on her head.

A passenger on a city bus in Thessaloniki was injured when part of the vehicle’s ceiling fell on her head. The part was not very small, judging by the published photographs.

State broadcaster ERT reported that an ambulance was called to the scene to provide first aid to the victim. After a short inspection of the scene, it was determined that the woman did not require first aid or hospitalization.

The incident occurred on Thursday afternoon on the OASTH public bus line 18.

This is not the first and probably will not be the last incident involving a public bus, not only in Greece’s second-largest city, but also in Athens and other cities in the country, as maintenance of public transport does not seem to be a concern for the authorities.
