Yesterday morning a Ural Airlines plane committed forced landing with 165 people on board. And towards evening, another airliner of the same company discovered a malfunction – and just before takeoff, with passengers on board.
According to Russian media, due to technical problems, the flight from Yekaterinburg to Bishkek was postponed; passengers were informed about this after landing. People says:
“Flight U6-2985 A320 on the route to Bishkek was supposed to depart at 15:15, but the dispatcher announced some technical malfunction on board. We were unloaded back to the airport. The departure time was not reported.”
Before the war in Ukraine, this aircraft belonged to the Irish leasing company AerCap, but after the Russian invasion and the imposition of sanctions, Russia confiscated Western aircraft and their service ceased.
