Russian analyst: “Prigozhin is alive, well and free after his understudy died in a plane crash” (video)

Russian political scientist Valery Solovey* claims that the head of the Wagner PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin, did not die in the plane crash. He is alive and plotting revenge, is in an unnamed country and will show up later this year.

Critic of Putin says writes Daily Mail that Prigozhin is “alive, well and free” despite the fact that Russia suits him funeralwhere Vladimir Putin refuses be present. He managed to avoid an assassination attempt, sanctioned, according to the political scientist, by Putin and compiled by his Security Council.

A former professor at Moscow’s prestigious Institute of International Relations (MGIMO), a training school for spies and diplomats, accuses the Russian authorities of lying because of Prigozhin’s DNA, they knew the attempt to assassinate Wagner leader failed because in airplane sat a double, which, as you know, was used by Prigozhin. disputing US intelligence findingsNightingale says:

“Firstly, the plane on which Yevgeny Prigozhin was supposed to fly was shot down by the Russian air defense system. bang was not on board. They knocked him out. The secret operation to deliver this strike was developed by the Security Council. [России] and sanctioned personally by the President of Russia. Prigogine himself was not on board. His doppelgänger flew instead. By the way, Vladimir Putin understands this very well. If you believe the official statements of the Russian authorities, then what can I say …?

Dr. Nightingale said he would reveal Prigozhin’s alleged country of exile early next month, but denied that it was in Africa that Wagner’s private army had multiple interests. The exiled Prigogine is “preparing for revenge,” he insists:

“How did he stay alive, and his loved ones died? What choice is he facing? [Пригожин] got up. I’m not talking about the moral side of this choice. God forbid any of us face such a choice. He intends to take revenge for being faced with such a choice. He intends to take revenge on the people who intended to destroy him and destroyed people close to him.

According to the political scientist, Prigozhin has access to £1.6 billion worth of bitcoin, a fund he will use to strike back:

“This is more than enough for revenge. As for ambition, energy and courage, he has plenty of them.”

After the June coup led by Prigozhin, photographs emerged showing alleged doppelgangers of the field commander. He has used wigs and false beards to disguise himself in Africa and the Middle East, promoting Putin’s interests and deploying Wagner forces.

In one disguise, he was portrayed as an employee of the Sudanese Ministry of Defense, in another as an assistant to a diplomat from Abu Dhabi, in the third he had documents of a senior lieutenant from Benghazi in Libya. Prigozhin posed as a colonel from Tripoli, a “merchant from Syria” and a field commander named Mohammed, writes the Daily Mail.

But the Investigative Committee of Russia insisted on his death, referring to DNA. Political scientist Ekaterina Shulman said: “To hide forever, taking one of the many spare passports, a burned-out plane is also a good reason.” And former Russian presidential candidate Ksenia Sobchak, known as Putin’s goddaughter, said: “It seems to me that we are burying [Пригожина] too early”.

A Brief Telegram-channel survey showed that 38% believe that Prigozhin is still alive. The ISW (Institute for the Study of War) observed how some Russian Telegram channels “unreasonably assumed that Prigozhin had survived the plane crash, in what could be an information operation aimed at flooding the Russian media space with false reports and diverting attention from Prigozhin’s funeral.” Experts suggest that some Russian officials may be studying the views of “military correspondents” on Prigozhin and his death in order to identify and censor Russian ultra-nationalists who have no apparent connection to Prigozhin or Wagner.

*Valery Dmitrievich Solovey is a Russian historian, political analyst, publicist and public figure. Doctor of Historical Sciences. From 2007 to 2019 – Professor and Head of the Department of Advertising and Public Relations at MGIMO.

On the night of August 31, a video with Prigozhin appeared, it had not been published before. Prigozhin’s direct speech on the video: “For those who are discussing whether I am alive or not, how am I doing. It’s the weekend, the second half of August 23. I’m in Africa, so lovers of discussing my liquidation, intimate life, earnings or something else anything… It’s all right.” At the same time, in the video, Prigogine is wearing the same clothes as in the video published on August 21.

The possibility of killing Prigozhin was actively discussed even before the plane crash. At the same time, journalists did not manage to get footage with the identification of the body of the head of the Wagnerites.
