Video shock: Croats mercilessly beat an AEK fan with bats. The moment of the murder of M. Katsuris

Shocking new video footage of the deadly attack in Nea Filadelphia on August 7 shows the fury with which armed Croats beat AEK fans.

The video also shows Michalis Katsouris being beaten on the head by Croats with clubs. A few minutes later … he fell dead, as he also received a stab wound.

Documentary footage shows how 29-year-old Michalis (a man in a blue T-shirt who tried to escape) was beaten with bats by a group of hooligans who were chasing AEK fans. It was at these moments that the Croats, along with their Greek accomplices, launched a deadly sortie at the OPAP Arena stadium.

Shortly afterwards, video footage shows Michalis removing the helmet he was wearing and examining his left arm. In a matter of seconds, he runs a distance of about 50 meters and hides in the depths of the kiosk behind an ice cream refrigerator. This is where the guy falls and breathes his last.

Another shocking video is the moment when a fallen unarmed AEK fan is beaten to death by Croats all over his body with truncheons.

At the same time, according to ERT, the focus of the investigation of the Greek police is to identify the perpetrator of the murder. The process of taking genetic material has already been completed, and in the coming days, as expected, the first sketch of those involved will be compiled. The DNA samples taken will be compared with the genetic material of the evidence found at the scene of the attack and from the hooligans.

At the first stage, an investigation will be carried out against the five main suspects from Croatia, Greece and Albania, as well as 8 more Croats who were previously brought in by the authorities. Police officers continue to collect surveillance footage. It is possible that new information about the movements of those arrested will appear. It is also expected that there will be a study of mobile phone signals in the area of the stadium “Nea Philadelphia” before and after the murder.

From the editor.

You can understand the rivalry of teams, you can understand the passion and intensity of sports, but you can understand wild rage and hatredwhich forces in a cruel way literally beat your “brother” fan to death, impossible. Persons who experience and realize such feelings must be isolated from society, this is unequivocal.

It is no secret that through sports fanclubs the authorities “utilize” excessive tension in society, thus controlling the level of violence. However, if the authorities decided to use such (bad-smelling) methods, they bear full responsibility for the fact that this “force” got out of their control.
