Passenger traffic will increase today, 5/8, in the ports of Piraeus, Rafina and Lavrio, as mass departures to the islands of August vacationers continue.
According to the Coast Guard, 25 flights from Piraeus, 9 flights from Rafina and 10 flights from Lavrio are scheduled on Saturday.
On Friday, a total of 23 flights with 27,652 passengers and 5,436 cars were made from the port of Piraeus to the Cyclades, Dodecanese and Crete, and 42 flights to the Argosaronic Islands with 9,316 passengers and 1,112 cars.
Yesterday, 11 ships with 2962 passengers and 859 cars departed from the port of Lavrio, and 17 ships with 8561 passengers and 2086 cars departed from the port of Rafina.
As a reminder, travelers must arrive one hour before the scheduled departure time of the scheduled ships to avoid boarding problems. The Coast Guard has stepped up measures to avoid delays.
