Chania: the killer made a mistake, and now ΕΛΑΣ is on his trail (video)

Investigation into brutal murder with dismemberment continues – body parts of a man found on July 18 in Akrotiri Chania among sorted items on a DEDISA conveyor belt, at a waste processing plant.

Accidental “mistake” of the killer brought the police on his trail – in one of the bags with the remains of the dead checks from purchases in a cafe and mini-market east of the city of Rethymno were found, writes CNN Greece.

The shops have been installed, and the CCTV cameras of the establishments are now being studied in order to identify the criminal. It is assumed that he was familiar with his prey, judging by the way the crime was committed. The victim is a 30-year-old Asian, possibly an Indian. His identity has not yet been established, and there have been no reports of disappearance.

By information zarpanews.gr, there have already been several arrests, but no arrests. There is no official information from law enforcement agencies yet. The investigation is ongoing, but the case files have been transferred from Chania to Rethymnon.
