Experiment: 50°C in the cabin, almost 180°C(!) on the outer surface of the car (video)

The thermal experiment was carried out by the Up Stories team on July 20 with a car parked for only 15 minutes in the sun.

In cooperation with meteo.gr, yesterday, during the experiment, the team members placed a special thermometer inside the car, closed all windows and doors, and in the midst of the heat, at 13:30, left the car on the sunny side of the Athenian street for a quarter of an hour.

Initially, the temperature outside was 77°C and inside 38°C, but within a short time, the figures began to increase rapidly. The result of a 15-minute heat test conducted by Up Stories, presented edition newsbeast.gr: the surface temperature of the car outside was 179.6 ° C, inside – 50 ° C. Video of the experiment:
