Dora – Kyriakos: Let’s drink to the health of the Greek-Turkish people

The sister of Kyriakos Mitsotakis, former foreign minister Dora Bakoyannis, has been elected chairperson of the parliamentary foreign affairs and defense committee.

With her appointment to this most important committee for solving national problems, as well as with the appointment of George Gerapetritis and Alexandra Papadopoulou as minister and deputy minister of foreign affairs, control over the procedures for “solving” the Greek-Turkish problem is completed directly from the Megaro Maximo building (the residence of the Prime Minister of Greece), the publication writes about this antitheto.gr.

In her tweet, Ms. Bakoyannis couldn’t help but thank Kyriakos Mitsotakis, as well as “and the deputies of all parties who have placed their trust in me.”

Indeed, the “oppositionists”, if such a species flourishes in our country, why did they vote for it:

• For her unacceptable and unsuccessful pre-election meddling in Thrace, which brought political dividends to Ankara and the extremely dismissive attitude towards the Greek Muslim minority, which she wants to get as electoral “clients”?
• For ignoring the opinion of Greek society and preparing for a “settlement” of the Greek-Turkish conflict, or because, as she says, Turkey also has the right to ask … access to the sea, but we do not give it to her …
• Maybe it’s the forced “concessions” that, according to Kyriakos Mitsotakis, Greece should make when it sits down at the negotiating table with Turkey?
• For his fanatical defense of the Annan plan in Cyprus in 2004, or for the fact that Cyprus should not have entered into EU?
• Because when Kostas Karamanlis and N. Bakoyannis closed the EEZ with Albania in 2009 (with Berisha at the time), they “forgot” to pass and ratify it through the Greek Parliament?
• Or for her other unfortunate statement that Greece is in state of war with Russia?

With Dora Bakoyannis as chairman of the Commission on National Defense and Foreign Affairs, with an absolute majority of the ND in parliament, with the absence of politicians competent in foreign policy issues in the opposition, and some of them are completely her henchmen (doraki), all plans Megaro Maximu “pass” without resistance, both in the national and in the remaining programs of arms purchases.

Defense Minister Nikos Dendias raises serious doubts that he will want or be able to make a different speech, as opposed to Maxim and D. Bakoyannis. By the way, in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where he was a minister, “denomination” is now taking place. Even at the verbal level, N. Dendias is being reproached for the trips that he constantly made on the Prime Minister’s VIP plane.

C. Gerapetritis, for example, stated that he would not be a “travel minister” and that, especially on direct flights, he would fly on a scheduled aircraft and not on the prime minister’s aircraft. Which he did recently during a trip to Brussels. And he did the right thing.

As we know, N. Dendias constantly advertised that he had covered so many kilometers in the VIP-salon that if you add them up, it sometimes turns out that he flew the distance from the Earth to the Moon (!).

Reference: Dora Bakoyannis is the daughter of former Prime Minister Konstantinas Mitsotakis, the sister of the current Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis. Her son Kostas Bakoyannis is now the mayor of Athens.
