Every year there are more and more fans of “outdoor recreation”, especially after the covid pandemic.
Greeks and foreign visitors to our country, either for financial reasons or because they want to “merge with nature”, to completely relax away from the bustle of the city, choose campsites. Romanians, Serbs, Bulgarians this year again filled the tent camps in Chalkidiki. In total, there are 28 campsites in the prefecture, of which 24 are located in Sithonia, and throughout the country their number exceeds 300.
Campsites have people of all ages. First of all, they are preferred by families, because there children feel more free, they have contact with nature. Of course, there is no shortage of young people, because many campsites host events and older people who traditionally choose them for their holidays. There is also a certain regular clientele who have been choosing this particular way of recreation for many years, especially residents of Central and Western Europe.
Well, for those who have never rested in a tent camp, you should probably think: “maybe it’s worth a try ?!”. Many, having gained the experience of “merging with nature”, have forever become adherents of this type of summer holiday. If this is your first time camping, be sure to pack properly. And it may turn out that instead of positive ones, you will get very unpleasant impressions.
