CCTV footage shows the actions of unknown people who stole three painted pots and two plants from an exhibition in Halkidiki.
How tells GRTimes is an unofficial exhibition that adorns the picturesque village of Afyta in Halkidiki. Sculptor Vassilis Pavlis, former community president, Afytos volunteer manager and one of the initiators of the original open gallery, says:
“Obviously they took them to decorate their space.”
The video clearly captures the moment when, at five o’clock in the morning a few days ago, strangers take out the exhibits of the exhibition that they liked:
Vasilis Pavlis says:
“It is clearly recorded that a man and two women carry out three painted containers, as well as two simple pots with plants. They travel by car and on foot. In fact, their movements show that they choose what to take. That is, you can see how women indicate to a man which ones to “pick up”, which leads us to believe that they wanted them to decorate their personal space.
There was no official report to the police about the theft. Vasilis Pavlis recounts the incident as follows:
