Bad weather hit Greece hard: cars were blown away, beaches were flooded

The bad weather, which played out in earnest in the north of Greece, with the onset of the morning of Saturday, 17/06, caused damage to the island of Lesvos.

At Agios Isidoros in Plomari, a river overflowed its banks, washing away a car parked in the area, as well as sun loungers and umbrellas. Also, in the area of ​​Lagada, building materials were found on the road surface, “sailed” from a neighboring construction site. Thessaloniki is in a state of emergency. In Halkidiki, problems were recorded in the road network, some highways were closed to traffic.
