I.Kasidiaris: "ND and PASOK should be withdrawn from the elections"

Ilias Kasidiaris, who was removed from participation in the national elections after the decision of the Supreme Court of Greece, took a similar step, demanding that both New Democracy and PASOK be excluded from participation in the elections.

Ilias Kasidiaris claims that a 40-page memorandum he submitted to the Supreme Court (Greece’s highest administrative court) some time ago detailed the reasons why ND and PASOK should be excluded from the electoral process. He announced this earlier, after PASOK filed a memorandum with the Supreme Court against I. Kasidiaris:

“I have just submitted to the Supreme Court a 40-page detailed memorandum detailing the many criminal acts and scandals associated with the political parties ND and PASOK (Siemens, kickbacks for weapons, illegal bank lending, the Lagarde list, wiretapping, pedophilia, QatarGate , paralegal activities, debts of hundreds of millions, falsification of free elections, interference in the judiciary, etc.). Based on these weighty facts and Article 29 of the Constitution, I call for the exclusion of the ND and PASOK parties from the electoral process, as they pose a threat to the democratic constitution.”

The full text of the petition is below.

Recall that earlier New Democracy filed a memorandum signed by its president Kyriakos Mitsotakis against the announcement of Kasidiaris’s combination of independent candidates, as well as any other combination in which he is the real leader.

“It was New Democracy, as a government, that led the process of legislating rules that prevent criminal organizations from entering parliament under the guise of a political party. May and has not yet submitted a memorandum in connection with the upcoming elections. New Democracy, with a sense of responsibility towards the Greek people, promises that it will always be at the forefront of the struggle for democracy”the statement says.
