Head of intelligence of Ukraine: “We will continue to kill Russians anywhere in the world until the final victory”

“We will continue to kill Russians anywhere in the world until the complete defeat of Ukraine,” said the head of the intelligence service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Kirill Budanov.

The Ukrainian official made these statements in connection with the death of Russian journalists.

Speaking to Yahoo.news, he added that Russia cannot launch a serious offensive anywhere and on any of the fronts in eastern Ukraine.

Speaker MIR RF Maria Zakharova commented Budanov’s statement in the following words: “This is a direct blow to the White House. The Kiev regime has declared that the Biden administration is sponsoring terrorism.”

On the morning of May 6, a car was blown up on a highway in the Nizhny Novgorod region, in which was the writer and co-chairman of the Just Russia – For Truth party Zakhar Prilepin. The fact that the driver died as a result of the incident, and the writer was injured, was the first to report, with reference to emergency services, Russian news agencies.

After the explosion, the Russian edition of RBC, citing sources, wrote that Prilepin was returning to the Audi Q7 from the territory of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics. At the same time, Interfax was told by emergency services that he was on a family trip to the village of Pionerskoye, Nizhny Novgorod Region. “During the movement, the car in which Prilepin was located exploded. The driver was killed, the writer was injured and hospitalized,” the agency was told. They added that, according to preliminary data, an improvised explosive device was planted under the bottom of the car. The Ministry of Internal Affairs later confirmed the death of one person as a result of the explosion.

After the incident, a source close to the Ministry of Internal Affairs told RBC that Prilepin was seriously wounded. However, the writer’s press service stated that he was “in order.” The same wording was then used in his Telegram channel by the governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region Gleb Nikitin.

Later, the head of the region clarified that Prilepin received “minor fractures”, there is no threat to his health, he is in “relative order”. By information REN TV source, the victim is in intensive care, his condition is assessed as serious, the issue of transporting the writer to Moscow is being decided. Telegram channel Mash also informedthat the politician was placed on the spot with splints and a bandage on his broken leg, then he was transported by helicopter to the Semashko Nizhny Novgorod Regional Clinical Hospital.

The deceased was an assistant and colleague of the writer, said Nikitin. According to REN TV, the driver was Alexander Shubin, a 27-year-old native of Lugansk, who had previously served in the LPR. According to the TV channel, the man accompanied the publicist during a business trip to the republic, where he served in the Oplot battalion of the National Guard.
