A beach bar in Mykonos must pay a fine of… 33 million euros

The total amount of the fine imposed on the bar on the island of Mykonos has reached 33 million euros. The owner has 10 days to file an appeal.

Another 11 million have been added for their use, that is, for each year until the owners remove the structures recognized as illegal, starting from this year, they will have to pay a fine of 11 million euros. True, the owner can try to prove his case in the court of appeal if he has time to submit an application within ten days.

In addition to the fine imposed on this establishment, an order was signed on Friday to demolish unauthorized structures on Psarou Beach. It is based on the results of inspections carried out by the Ministry of the Environment on the popular island, which took place April 4-11. You have 10 days to file an appeal.

The area to be demolished exceeds 500 square meters.
