A group of 15 minors beat a man in the city center, the police are looking for criminals.
The violent incident took place at 06:30 am near the National Bank of Kalamata, in the middle of the street. How writes Messinialive.gr, a man walked out of a nightclub and teenagers started molesting him. Then the beating began. A man living in a neighboring house responded to cries for help. He warned that he had called the police, and the youngsters quickly retreated.
Arriving at the scene, the police interviewed the victim and witnesses, and are studying surveillance cameras to identify the perpetrators. The victim was taken by ambulance to the Kalamata hospital, he was given first aid – among other things, he received a strong blow to the face. There is no threat to his life.
However, the growing aggressiveness of minors is a matter of serious concern, more and more news bulletins report on robberies, beatings, and rapes committed by teenagers.
Most recently, just a few days ago, our publication told about the case in the city center. The young guy and his friends were in the Acropolis area when they were attacked by two 17-year-old robbers. One of the attackers put a knife to the victim’s neck, at the same time trying to take away his purse by force. The second watched what was happening and was on the alert in case the police showed up. Taking away the purse, the attacker stabbed his victim in the neck and stomach and, snatching the prey, began to run away with an accomplice.
