Prigozhin’s video message, unpublished by the press service

The head of the Wagner PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin, is sure that if his troops retreat from Bakhmut, the entire front will crumble.

And then, he argues, Russia will blame the mercenaries for the defeat in the war. He reflects on this in his next video message, which appeared on the network late Saturday evening, that is, yesterday. In the video, Prigogine says:

“If the Wagner PMC retreats from Bakhmut, then the entire front will crumble… If the Wagner PMC is now rolling back, then the following situation is happening in history: it is clear that the front will crumble to the Russian borders, it may continue to crumble. Retreat of mercenaries from Bakhmut will cause a “spring effect”, and Ukrainian forces will break through to the territory of the “LPR” from all sides, sweep away Lugansk, Sorokino and enter the territory of Russia.

He claims that his PMC is the cement that allegedly holds the front of the Russian Federation. And he admits that in the event of the retreat of the Wagnerites, Crimea will also be de-occupied. Prigozhin is indignant that the Russian authorities will blame the Wagner PMC for the failure, which “couldn’t agree” and retreated. According to Prigozhin, this is why the Russian Ministry of Defense does not give the militants ammunition.

It is currently unknown where and when the video was recorded. Prigozhin’s press service, at the time of writing, did not publish it.
