Crimean Deputy Prime Minister Muradov, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Crimea to the President of Russia, spoke about the land corridor between Donbass and the peninsula:
“The road from Crimea to Mariupol has been taken under control. The road can become an important highway for Crimea connecting the peninsula with Mariupol, the metallurgical center of the Azov region, and the industrial region of Donbass. In Soviet times, this hard-surfaced route provided through transportation from Evpatoria through Mariupol to Donetsk business cargo”.
In the meantime, the Deputy Prime Minister of Crimea believes, there are battles with Ukrainian nationalists, and the route will help in the delivery of humanitarian aid to the population of the liberated regions of the DPR. He reminds:

In Soviet times, this paved route provided a through transportation of household goods from Evpatoria through Mariupol to Donetsk.”
Muradov argues that it is already worth thinking about cooperation in the transportation of goods through the seaports of Crimea and the key ports of the Sea of Azov – Mariupol and Berdyansk: “This is the key to the future development of the entire region,” he quotes RIA News.
The purpose of the special military operation to demilitarize Ukraine, the Russian president called “the protection of people who have been subjected to bullying and genocide by the Kiev regime for eight years.”
