ΔΕΔΔΗΕ reports that in 80% of power outages, problems are fixed. However, the remaining 20% is quite a lot, people continue to be left without heat and light.
Work to restore power supply, according to ΔΕΔΔΗΕ, continues. Repairmen are doing everything possible to quickly return people to normal living conditions. In Attica, damage was repaired on 15 lanes. However, the existence of problems at the neighborhood level does not yet allow the return of light to some areas of Marousi, Agia Paraskevi, Cholargos, Papagos and Chalandri.
More extensive and serious problems are found in Eastern Attica, in the areas of Nea Makri, Pikermi, Grammatiko, Kalentsi, Vutsa, Lavrio, Kato Suli, Marathon, Kalyvia, Keratea. Restoring power there is difficult due to poor accessibility. However, in each case, the problem has been identified and will soon be resolved.
On the islands, all damage has been repaired, power has been restored almost everywhere – except for some villages in the Chania region. Light and warmth have returned to the houses on Evia, before nightfall it is expected that there will be light in Atalanti.
