For two days the police searched for the relatives of a 12-year-old girl who was injured in a car accident. However, it turned out that she was not 12, but 28 years old, and her mother was also unsuccessfully looking for her.
The body of the deceased on Monday in Astropyrgos was identified two days later. After the police appealed to all citizens to provide at least some information to the traffic police and gave a description of the victim.
Our edition reported earlier, that in Aspropyrgos the driver did not notice the child on the middle lane of the road and, having knocked him down, dragged him by the car at least 50 meters. The deceased 12-year-old girl was taken to the morgue, but her body remains unclaimed. Nobody was looking for the girl. The driver who knocked down the child remained at the scene of the accident and was arrested. No amount of alcohol or illegal substances was found in the blood of the 53-year-old man.
