The 2020 Olympics in Tokyo ends today. The top five are the USA, China, Japan, Great Britain and Russia.
The first place was confidently won by the United States: 39 gold, 40 silver and 33 bronze awards.
The second-place Chinese athletes have won 39 gold, 32 silver and 18 bronze medals.
The third place was taken by the hosts of the Olympics – the Japanese, who have 27 gold, 14 silver and 17 bronze medals.
British athletes have managed to win 22 gold, 20 silver and 22 bronze medals.
Russia is also in the top five, winning the fifth place with 20 gold, 27 silver and 23 bronze medals. In terms of the total number of awards, Russia is in third place, behind only the United States and China.
Ukraine ranks 44th in the medal standings, ranking between Kosovo and Belarus. She has 1 gold, 6 silver and 12 bronze medals.
Greece has 3 medals – two gold and 1 bronze. The country is ranked 40th in the medal standings of the Olympic Games.
